Alice,
a pure Registered Johnson line American Bulldog came to us from our friends at Legends
Kennels. Her sister Calamity Jane is currently being shown by Legends Kennels and
she is doing very well. We brought Alice into our
breeding program to breed with our Boxer Max for Bulloxer puppies. Bulloxer is a
cross between Boxer and American Bulldog and is a popular up and coming
designer breed. This cross gives you the playful friendly temperament
of the Boxer and the more muscled look of the American Bulldog in one dog.

 Deadwood |
Deadwood is our latest addition here at
Porterfield Exotics. We will be Crossing Deadwood to our three Boxer
girls Maggie, Mindy and Mellie (shown in picture to left) this summer for Bulloxer
puppies. We are also currently in search of a good registered pure
breed ABD girl to add to our kennel and breed with Deadwood.
Deadwood came to us from our friends at Legend's Kennel and is a litter mate to our Alice. Deadwood has competed in dog shows and has done well, but we do not show our dogs so his show days are probably over. We operate a closed kennel and feel that traveling all over the country to show dogs is not in our or our dogs best interest. We feel that less contact with dogs outside of our kennel equals less chance of picking up and bringing home parasites and disease. Deadwood is now a fine looking, lovable stud dog and our girls seem to enjoy his company. We do not breed to win shows we breed our dogs to win the love and affection of our customers. We believe Deadwood will be a valuable asset to our breeding program here. |
