Due to
the number of unwanted herps that are being given up we are no longer
stocking an inventory of herps to sell. We will help
customers obtain herps from good sources. If you need a recommendation
for a place to purchase a quality pet herp just ask and we will try to help
you out. If you are seeking the rare and unusual and have the
knowledge, dedication and resources to care for it properly we may be
able to obtain it for you. We will occasionally have herps for sale
that we acquire to sell through private breeders, friends and customers but
will not be keeping a large inventory of herps for sale as we have done in
the past.
We will
continue to do herp rescues and educational herp presentations and will
occasionally have herps available for adoption.
Porterfield Exotics is one of few WI rescues that are qualified and
experienced in the field of venomous species,
crocodilians and very large
constrictors. We will continue to do our best to find these herps and
others a safe place to live out there lives but discourage people from
obtaining these species unless you truly do know what you are doing and plan
to give them a lifelong home. There are many safer and better choices
for most people to obtain as pets. |
